Season 3:
Episode 3.01 – Bad Blood
Artist: Beck
Listen: http://www.beck.com/index.php/beck-contributes-new-song-to-true-blood-soundtrack
Bad Blood [Version (a)]:
Oh here it comes now
Got its eye on you
I’ll keep your door locked tight
I’ll keep your children safe
When the wolf comes (ah ooh)
I don’t care if it takes all night
‘Cause there’s bad blood
Pumping in your veins
It’s alright
Turncoat poison in the dropping rain
In the gaslight hours
Hear the ghost on the train
I’ll pull the ?? down
At the cavalry crown
I’ve seen the worst of it
Turn into the moment
You lost your way
Here it comes now
Got its eye on you
Better run, better run
When it’s knock knock knockin’
At your door
I don’t care if it takes all night
Got the bad blood pumpin’
Through your veins
It’s alright
It’s alright
It’s alright
It’s alright
Episode 3.02 – Beautifully Broken
Song: I’m Alive
Artist: Shelby Lynne
Video:
Lyrics:
Engines rev and trumpets roar
I don’t hear your voice no more
And living isn’t worth the fear of dying
Wrapped up package torn up clothes
Empty days and deep dark holes
The only thing that keeps a man from crying
Oh if I don’t get you back I’ll fall upon a railroad track
And let the steel wheels cut right through my bones
Oh if I don’t get you back I’ll cover up my bloody tracks
With sorrow hopes and hide my dying pride
Oh cause I’m alive
Whispers in a losers dream
Holding on to not a thing
Cause these arms now are paralyzed without you to hold
Bold with crazy have no fear
Children cry and then I hear
The message my lies tell me in my dreams
Oh if I don’t get you back I’ll fall upon a railroad track
And let the steel wheels cut right through my bones
Oh if I don’t get you back I’ll cover up my bloody tracks
With sorrow hopes and hide my dying pride
Oh cause I’m alive
Maybe if I caught the rain
In pails that filter out the pain
I’d realize why you had to go
Days of lightning show the way
And night time creeps and holds at bay
The missing you, the mean, the cold, the ugly
Oh if I don’t get you back I’ll fall upon a railroad track
And let the steel wheels cut right through my bones
Oh if I don’t get you back I’ll cover up my bloody tracks
With sorrow hopes and hide my dying pride
Oh cause I’m alive
Episode 3.03 – It Hurts Me Too
Artist: Elmore James
Video:
Lyrics:
You said you was hurting, almost lost your mind,
And the man you love, he hurts you all the time.
When things go wrong, go wrong with you, it hurts
me, too.
You love him more when you should love him less. I
pick up behind him and take his mess. When things

go wrong, go wrong with you, it hurts me, too.
He love another woman and I love you, But you love
him and stick to him like glue. When things go
wrong, go wrong with you, it hurts me, too.
Now you better leave him; he better put you down.
Oh, I won’t stand to see you pushed around. When
things go wrong, go wrong with you, it hurts me,
too.
Episode 3.04 – 9 Crimes
Artist: Damien Rice
Video:
Lyrics:
Leave me out with the waste, this is not what I do
It’s the wrong kind of place to be thinking of you
It’s the wrong time for somebody new
It’s a small crime and I got no excuse
And is that all right, yeah?
I give my gun away when it’s loaded
Is that all right, yeah?
If you don’t shoot it how am I supposed to hold it?
Is that all right, yeah?
I give my gun away when it’s loaded
Is that all right, yeah, with you?
Leave me out with the waste, this is not what I do
It’s the wrong kind of place to be cheating on you
It’s the wrong time she’s pulling me through
It’s a small crime and I got no excuse
And is that all right, yeah?
If I give my gun away when it’s loaded
Is that all right, yeah?
If you don’t shoot it, how am I supposed to hold it?
Is that all right, yeah?
I give my gun away when it’s loaded
Is that all right?
Is that all right with you?
Is that all right, yeah?
If I give my gun away when it’s loaded
Is that all right, yeah?
If you don’t shoot it, how am I supposed to hold it?
Is that all right, yeah?
I give my gun away when it’s loaded
Is that all right?
Is that all right with you?
And is that all right, yeah?
Is that all right?
Is that all right?
Is that all right with you?
No?
Episode 3.05 – Trouble
Artist: Suzi Quatro, written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.
Video:
Lyrics:
If you’re looking for trouble, boy, you’ve come to the right place
If you’re looking for trouble just look right in my face
I was born standing up and talking back
My daddy was a green-eyed mountain, Jack
‘Cause I’m evil
Misery is my middle name
Well, I’m evil
So don’t you mess around with me
I never look for trouble, but I never ran
And I don’t take no orders from no kind of man
I’m only made out of flesh blood and bone
But if you gonna start a rumble don’t you try it all alone
‘Cause I’m evil
Misery is my middle name
Well, I’m evil
So don’t you mess around with me
Episode 3.06 – I Gotta Right to Sing the Blues
Artist: Cary Ann Hearst
Song: Hell’s Bells
Video:
Lyrics:
“I gotta right to sing the blues” by Billie Holiday, plays while Lorena tortures Bill. (or is it the other way around?)
Episode 3.07 -Hitting the Ground
Artist: Polly Jean Harvey
Lyrics:
I was beaten up, I was beaten down
By my life and a photographic sound
I was filled with love, I was filled with rage
My life book shook with the turning of it’s page
Hitting the ground, hitting the ground
And there ain’t no friend round, never be found
Hitting the ground, hitting the ground
And there ain’t no-one there to help you come down
I was not on drugs, I was not on beer
I was still with love, I was full of fear
If I asked the question, life will tell no lie
Love will ask the question are you willing to die
Hitting the ground, hitting the ground
And there ain’t no friend round, never be found
Hitting the ground, hitting the ground
And there ain’t no-one there to help you come down
I’m gonna go way up in an aeroplane
I’m gonna go way out insane
I don’t know if I’d ever come down
I don’t know if I can reach the ground
Hitting the ground, hitting the ground
And there ain’t no friend round, never be found
Hitting the ground, hitting the ground
And there ain’t no-one there to help you come down
I’m gonna go way up in an aeroplane
I’m gonna go way out insane
I don’t know if I’d ever come down
I don’t know if I can reach the ground
I was beaten up, I was beaten down
By my life and a photographic sound
I was filled with love, I was filled with rage
My life book shook with the turning of it’s page
Hitting the ground, hitting the ground
And there ain’t no friend round, never be found
Hitting the ground, hitting the ground
And there ain’t no-one there to help you come down

Episode 3.08 -Night on the Sun
Artist: Otep/ Otep Shamaya
Song: Head of Medusa
Lyrics:
In that final look
Does the deer forgive the wolf ?
You’ve stolen my fascination
You’ve amothered my holy addiction
And now I’m soaked in you
Like fat white worms or sad haikus
I woke up
& the worldwas on the fire
I woke up
& the swine had conspired
To erase all the faith
That I have in the human race
I woke up
& the world was on fire
It’s all in your head
It’s all in your head
They said I need to flee
Are they shepherds ?
Or are they sheep ?
Are we the butchers ?
Or are we meat ?
In this nest of lies
Living a life under siege
We sink in the stink
& I need my disease
It’s all in your head
They said I need to flee
This neverending ordinary monarchy
Beneath the toxic water
Where my secrets come to meet
In catacombs of shadow
& wet skies of mystery
I found a soggy savior
A painted lady made of eyes
She sings to me, my deceit
“your life is a lie”
I woke up
& the world was on fire
I woke up
& the swine had conspired
To erase all the faith
That I have in the human race
I woke up
& the world
Was
On
Fire
It’s all in your head
It’s all in your head
They said I need to flee
Are they shepherds ?
Or are they sheep ?
Are we the butchers ?
Or are we meat ?
In this nest of lies
Living a life under siege
We sink in the stink
& I need my disease
It’s all in your head
They said I need to flee
This neverending ordinary monarchy
If we stand too still,
They’re gonna eat us alive !
Watch your tongue,
Teach them young…
Medicate the mutiny.
Better living through chemistry
Self destruction’s patriotic.
Money fixes everything.
Wach your tongue,
Teach them young…
We’re taught
To love & hate
To fight & obey…
I’ve lost my mind,
But I’ve found my way
(in this nest of lies
Every wall has eyes)
It’s all in your head
It’s all in your head
They said I need to flee
Are they shepherds ?
Or are they sheep ?
Are we the butchers ?
Or are we meat ?
In this nest of lies
Living a life under siege
We sink in the stink
& I need my disease
It’s all in your head
They said I need to flee
This neverending ordinary monarchy

Episode 3.09 -Everything is Broken
Artist: Bob Dylan
Video:
Lyrics:
Everything Is Broken
Broken lines, broken strings,
Broken threads, broken springs,
Broken idols, broken heads,
People sleeping in broken beds.
Ain’t no use jiving
Ain’t no use joking
Everything is broken.
Broken bottles, broken plates,
Broken switches, broken gates,
Broken dishes, broken parts,
Streets are filled with broken hearts.
Broken words never meant to be spoken,
Everything is broken.
Seem like every time you stop and turn around
Something else just hit the ground
Broken cutters, broken saws,
Broken buckles, broken laws,
Broken bodies, broken bones,
Broken voices on broken phones.
Take a deep breath, feel like you’re chokin,’
Everything is broken.
Every time you leave and go off someplace
Things fall to pieces in my face
Broken hands on broken ploughs,
Broken treaties, broken vows,
Broken pipes, broken tools,
People bending broken rules.
Hound dog howling, bullfrog croaking,
Everything is broken.”
Episode 3.10 -I Smell a Rat
Artist: Patty Griffin
Video:
Lyrics:
I smell a rat baby
I smell a rat baby
You’d better watch out
I smell a rat, babe
You won’t tell me where you been
Whiskey running all down your chin
I smell a rat baby
I smell a rat baby
You’d better watch out
I smell a rat baby
You come stumbling down the hall
Bump your head up against the wall
Knock down drunk and that ain’t all
I know you been having yourself a ball
I smell a rat baby
I smell a rat baby
You’d better watch out
I smell a rat baby
You come stumbling down the hall
Bump your head up against the wall
Knock down drunk and that ain’t all
I know you been having yourself a ball
I smell a rat baby
I smell a rat baby
You’d better watch out
I smell a rat baby
I smell a rat baby
I smell a rat baby
Yeah

Episode 3.12 -Evil is Going On
video:
Artist: Howlin’ Wolf
Lyrics:
by Chester Burnett a.k.a. Howlin’ Wolf
recording of 1969
from Evil (Chess 1540)
If you’re a long way from home, can’t sleep at night
Grab your telephone, something just ain’t right
That’s evil, evil is goin’ on wrong
I am warnin’ ya brother, you better watch your happy home
Well, long way from home and, can’t sleep at all
You know another mule is, kickin’ in your stall
That’s evil, evil is goin’ on wrong
I am warnin’ ya brother, you better watch your happy home
(spoken: You better catch him, ’cause somethin’s wrong, in your home)
Well, if ya call her on the telephone, and she answers awful slow
Grab the first train smokin’, if you have to hobo
That’s evil, evil is goin’ on wrong
I am warnin’ ya brother, you better watch your happy home
If you make it to your house, knock on the front door
Run around to the back, you’ll catch him, just before he go
That’s evil, evil is goin’ on
I am warnin’ ya brother, you better watch your happy home
My favorites are “9 Crimes” and “Beautifully Broken” by Govt Mule. Apparently, there’s a lot of symbolism around the 9 Crimes song, pertaining to turning to love another person while still being in love with someone else. If there’s one thing these songs blast out to me loud and clear, it’s this. Bill will become re-enthralled with Lorena, cheat on Sookie with Lorena, but will still be in love with Sookie at the same time. Eric will learn of Bill’s unfaithfulness to Sookie with Lorena and will want Sookie to give up on Bill and come into his arms.
I think “9 Crimes” might be from Sookie’s pov, being in love with Bill but “cheating” on him by constantly thinking about Eric and feeling guilty about it.
Any of the “It Hurts Me Too” versions sounds like Eric talking about Sookie, and the “Beautifully Broken” versions definitely sound like Lorena.
Regardless, and no matter what we “think” we see on the screen the truth of TB is always in the music.
I agree. The music is like this incredible undercurrent of truth.
I can’t wait to see what else is coming. I like how they are linking them to songs. REally insightful
I know! I love it.
Episode 9: Everything is Broken.. Bob Dylan i think
Yep, just now got it updated. And by ‘everything is broken’ I hope they mean “Bill and Sookie are kaput” LOL.
Are these the actual songs that will be featured on TB??
No, these are just my guesses based on song title.
the song to the last episode season 3, “Evil Is Going On” (the version they used on the show), is by Jace Everett & CC Adcock.
[second song sample in amazon.com]

Hey, thanks for that Glenda!
Might “Beautifully Broken” be Ashlee Simpson’s song? I have admittedly horrible taste in music, but as soon as I heard that was the title of the episode, I could only imagine AS’s obscure song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IuEiNY-Bmo
“Beautifully Broken”
It seems like yesterday that my world fell from the sky
It seems like yesterday I didnt know how hard I could cry
It feels like tomorrow I may not get by
But I will try
I will try wipe the tears from my eyes
[Chorus:]
I’m beautifully broken and I don’t mind if you know it
I’m beautifully broken and I don’t care if I show it
Every day is a new day I’m reminded of my past
Everytime theres another storm I know that it wont last
Every moment I’m filled with hope
cause i get another chance
But I will try I will try
Got nothing left to hide
[Chorus]
Without the highs and the lows
Where will we go?
Where will we go?
[Chorus]
I am beautifully broken, I am beautifully broken
I am beautifully broken and I don’t care if I show it
[Repeats til end, and fades out]
I listened to the Ashley Simpson song and it just doesn’t fit for me. The music and lyrics sounds so upbeat. It’s hard for me to picture that this would be a song choice for this point in TB when everything is so down and depressing. If this song is it then who is the one “Beautifully Broken”? Sookie? Ok so lets just say it is Sookie for a second. I can understand after the phone call (I saw it in a preview) how she would be beaten down feeling but I don’t think she would automatically turn around and be able to see the bright side so soon (“I am beautifully broken and I don’t care if I show it”) “. This song suggest someone that has accepted and come to terms with their flaws and their relationship and decided they’re not going to let it get them down. I just remember how Sookie was when watching her pine for Bill when she thought he was dead. In my mind, a break-up is worth than a death because everytime you see that person harsh feelings boil back to the surface, whereas if someone dies you they’re not bouncing back in your face causing your to mourn more. I just can’t wrap my head around this song. Sorry.
Mc: I saw today that ep 10 could be possibly be called ‘I smell a Rat’. Now i can’t find a song with just that title, but there is a White Stripes song called ‘I Think I Smell a Rat’. I really don’t think it would fit as well as the other titles, but who knows
Oh I think I smell a rat
oh I think I smell a rat
all you little kids
seem to think you know
just where it’s at
oh I think I smell a rat
walking down the street
carrying a baseball bat
oh I think I smell a rat
Oh I think I smell a rat
oh I think I smell a rat
all you little kids
seem to think you know
just where it’s at
oh I think I smell a rat
using your mother and father
for a welcome mat
oh I think I smell a rat
Could be Dazed! Thanks for putting this up, I’ll put in the Buddy Guy version.
You are right… the Lyrics for Buddy Guy one fits a lot better
Nice call
Heads up: Evidently, the title of episode 3.01 has been changed to “Bad Blood”…
Whoa!
I know right? Sounds like this vengeance plotline is going to manifest itself earlier than I thought…
I like the choise of lyrics for “it hurts me too”… especially the Bob Dylan version, that suits Eric. “Everything is broken” could be the end of S/B relationship. And “9 crimes” sounds like a struggle of emotions between E/S : It’s the wrong kind of place to be thinking of you; It’s the wrong time for somebody new.
I’m loving that they use songs to describe the feel of the episodes, ‘couse like Sunny said “Regardless, and no matter what we “think” we see on the screen the truth of TB is always in the music.”
I love that Bob Dylan song Freyja. I love Bob Dylan, period.
But, I do think Beck’s new track on the s2 soundtrack “Bad Blood” will be the song for the first ep. I like it but I was hoping so much for the Shakespeare’s Sister.
Hey Sunny, FYI: I read a spoiler that the song for ep 12 “Evil (is going on)” is actually a Jace Everett song from the Season 2 TB soundtrack.
Oh duh, never mind. I see that it’s a remake of the Howlin’ Wolf song you posted. Never mind!
what are you thoughts on the new episode 3.06 song?
Katya, I put up the Louis Armstrong version, but I wonder if they’ll use the Frank Sinatra version? I think that would be pretty cool.
I liked the Frank Sinatra version too!
Sunny, do you have the 2nd soundtrack? Because I was wondering about the songs that aren’t in season 2 that aren’t title tracks either,.. do you think they will all be insert songs? I know the Elvis Costello song, ‘Kiss Like Your Kiss,’ was written for a romantic scene in season 3, but I wonder which episode its in and who is the couple?
The other song I was wondering about, ‘Fresh Blood’ is from the promos, but I would think they would include it for better reasons than that. There are a few others and I don’t know if they were already insert songs or not but I don’t really care about them, lol. Although I have to say ‘You did (Bomp Shooby Dooby Bomp)’ is DEFINITELY an Eric and Sookie song. LOL.
I just listened to the Costello song and it’s lovely
Hopefully it’s for S/E
See, I can’t bring myself to like it that much because Lucinda Williams hoped it was for ‘hot Sookie and Bill sex.’ Just no.
eeewwww I hope not
But it could be, like their last kiss, bleh!!!
Where are the lyrics for that??
It doesnt have to mean its their last kiss!
Though I hope it’s the last kiss for S/B! hah
Here you go Katya. I find it interesting the Nathan Barr helped write the music, with the inclusion of the guitar and cello parts. To me it means it was constructed to fit in with the score, but I still can’t place whose song it is.
“Kiss Like Your Kiss”
There’ll never be a spring so perfect again
You’ll never see a yellow so rich
The grass will never be quite as green
And there’ll never be a kiss like your kiss.
There’ll never be a summer so complete
You will never see a palette like this
The berries will never taste as sweet
There’ll never be a kiss like your kiss
There’ll never be an autumn so vivid and warm
So red so golden so crisp
Never see a color in aubergine
Never will there be a kiss like your kiss
(guitar and instrumental)
There’ll never be a winter quite so true
When the sky is painted with gifts
And there’ll never be a moon so full and blue
There’ll never be a kiss like your kiss
Hmmm…. Hmmm… (cello)
There’ll never be a kiss like your kiss.
What is the guitar song playing while Tara and Sookie are laying out in the sun in the episode “Night on the Sun”??
HI Erinnn! I don’t know the answer to your question but I’ll see if I can find it.
Erinnn-finally had a chance to go back and listen to the music you were talking about, and it’s ‘Take Me Home’, or what I call ‘Gran’s Theme’ which is composed by Nathan Barr:
The whole song foreshadows the ‘last kiss’ or something like that between B/S. I mean their love is suppose to be epic! Bill is described as the tragic hero. So all this ‘never’ ‘never’ never’ sounds like something bittersweet that is ending.
Wow, beautiful lyrics! I have no idea who they’re about.
No, I do not own the soundtrack–yet–but I did listen to the entire album, streamed at EW–
http://music-mix.ew.com/2010/05/20/true-blood-volume-2-soundtrack-stream/
Unfortunately, the stream has now been removed.
Personally I’d never have bought it, but I got it free that night at the Ultimate Fan Experience.
To me “Kiss Like Your Kiss” would have been more appropriate for season 1 or 2 B/S, not now where their ‘love’, gag me, blaaagh, is starting to crumble. I have to think its for Jason and Crystal.
After listening to “Fresh Blood” all last night, I think it could either be an Alcide or Eric/Sookie song, it def. suggests to me a rebound song, but whats intriguing FB also uses autumn imagery.. if it weren’t for the howling in FB I’d give it to E/S.
Do you want the lyrics to that Sunny? Do you want the lyrics to ‘You Did/Bomp Shooby Dooby Bomp’ too? That way you can see how funny my joke is.. lol.
Lol Serena. I totally want any lyrics you want to give me.
You can go to a site like isohunt and dl the albums. I saw them up there when i was searching for ep 1. Also the lj page that live streams the episodes also has both season 1 and 2 for dl
“Fresh Blood” by Eels
Sun down on the sorry day
By nightlights the children pray
I know you´re prob´ly gettin´ ready for bed
Beautiful woman get out of my head
I´m so tired of the same old crud
Sweet baby I need fresh blood
Whoo!
Howl
The moon shines on the autumn sky
Growin´ cold the leaves all die
I´m more alone than I´ve ever been
Help me out of the shape I´m in
After the fires before the flood
My sweet baby I need fresh blood
Whoo!
Howl
Whatever trepidation you may feel
In your heart you know it´s not real
In a moment of clarity
Some little act of charity
You gotta pull me out of this mud
Sweet baby I need fresh blood
Whoo!
Howl
Whoo!
Howl

Wake me up if I should drift away
I don’t wanna miss a thing
Take my hand and lead me all around
I don’t care

Who proved that anything was possible?
You did
I got a letter this morning
Who built the house and brought it down?
Who raised the roof and never made a sound?

Opened my heart like a baby’s fist?

Lovely, thanks!
I always laugh when I hear “You Did/Bomp Shooby Dooby Bomp”
thank you for posting all the lyrics Serena
Ok so the song beautifully broken, which one did they use in the episode?
The song is called “I’m Alive” by Shelby Lynne, who, it just so happens, grew up in my home county of Washington County Alabama.
Like, 30 odd miles from me.
they used beautifully broken earlier on in the episode.
Did you see in what scene?
i think they used gov’t mule beautifully broken
when tara meets franklin and jessica finds out the body is missing
I’m thinking that last episodes song ‘It hurts me too’ , was in Erics POV. What do you think?
Freyja, I agree. It is obviously from a male perspective so it can’t be Lorena, and it doesn’t fit Bill’s pov.
I instantly thought of Eric when reading the lyrics, and in that ep he sent Alcide to Sookie so she could go on with her adventures… And at the begining fighting with the wolve… He was very distressed for her.
Totally agreed Dwim!
Pingback: Welcome to J6z6b6l’s True Blood page « J6z6b6l's Blog
I’m thinking that ’9 crimes’ is about Bill and Sookie, first half of the song is about Bill and second half Sookie’s.
Sookie: It’s the wrong kind of place to be thinking of you
It’s the wrong time for somebody new
It’s a small crime and I got no excuse
Bill:It’s the wrong kind of place to be cheating on you
It’s the wrong time she’s pulling me through
It’s a small crime and I got no excuse
But after Eric’s dream, and seeing the look on his face, I thought of this: ‘It’s the wrong kind of place to be thinking of you. It’s a small crime and I’ve got no excuse.’
But mostly I think it’s about B/S.
First half about Sookie and second half about Bill
unfortunately I got to agree with you for the most part Freyja.
The only quirk with that theory is that
why would sookie say, it’s the wrong kind of place to be thinking of you?
Because Bill broke up with her like that and she shouldn’t be thinking of him?
I was thinking that she’s thinking of another
But it could be about Bill and Eric of course. It was a big part in the show that he’s thinking of Sookie and it’s the wrong time to be thinking of her, and he clearly was conflicted that he was day/nightdreaming of her.
Any thoughts on the song for “trouble” sunny?
Female Badassery! lol

Florence and the machine – Howl
If you could only see the beast you’ve made of me
I held it in but now it seems you’ve set it running free
Screaming in the dark, I howl when we’re apart
Drag my teeth across your chest to taste your beating heart
My fingers claw your skin, try to tempt my way in
You are the moon that makes the night for which I have to howl
My fingers claw your skin, try to tempt my way in
You are the moon that breaks the night for which I have to
Howl, howl
Howl, howl
Now there’s no rolling back, I’m aching to attack
My blood is singing with your voice, I want to pour it out
The saints can’t help me now, the ropes have been unbound
I hunt for you with bloodied feet across the hallowed ground
Like some child possessed, the beast howls in my veins
I want to find you and tear out all of your tenderness
And howl, howl
Howl, howl
Be careful of the curse that falls on young lovers
Starts so soft and sweet and turns them into hunters
Hunters, hunters, hunters
Hunters, hunters, hunters
The fabric of your flesh, pure as a wedding dress
Until I wrap myself inside your arms I cannot rest
The saints can’t help me now, the ropes have been unbound
I hunt for you with bloodied feet across the hallowed ground
And howl
Be careful of the curse that falls on young lovers
Starts so soft and sweet and turns them into hunters
A man who’s pure of heart and says his prayers by night
May still become a wolf when the autumn moon is bright
If you could only see the beast you’ve made of me
I held it in but now it seems you’ve set it running free
The saints can’t help me now, the ropes have been unbound
I hunt for you with bloodied feet across the hallowed ground
Does anyone know who sings the song “I’m Evil, Don’t Mess Around With Me” and “Big Bad Handsome Man”.? These songs are always played on the True Blood Trailers.
I really love these songs but have no idea who sings them….
Please Help!!!!
Did you ever get an answer to that? I know the “I’m evil baby, don’t you mess around with me” lyrics are really the Elvis song “Trouble” but this sounds like a cover… I don’t know which artist does the cover though, that’s the mystery!
Anyone have any thought on the “hitting the ground” song?
I think someone’s linked it to a PJ Harvey song
The “Fresh Blood” song by Eel is perfect for Eric POV and what is about to go down in episode 11 this Sunday. Ugh, can’t wait!
This is a perfect song for him! The lyrics just scream ERIC.
This:
Whatever trepidation you may feel
In your heart you know it´s not real
In a moment of clarity
Some little act of charity
I agree artermis. I hope this is the song they use but they have surprised us a couple of times this season and used songs that did not have the same title as the ep.
Does anyone know the name of the track that was playing in s3 ep11″ fresh blood” in the scene with Lafayette and Jesus
Michelle, unfortunately I do not. I’ll have another listen and see if I can identify the tune. Anybody?
Thanks Sunnynala appreciate that!
Do you happen to have, or have a link to, an mp3 file of Stephen Moyer singing “Hard-Hearted Hannah” while playing the piano from the Lorena flashbacks? I just loved the song already, but I really wanted the track of him singing it too.
this is Ella Fitzgerald…nice version..can’t find Bills.
I’ve never found Bill’s either.
was there any music in 4.03…I can’t find a listing anywhere.
Hey gal, you’re in the season 3 section! LOL! I’ve got the song up that played after Sookie left Eric in the hidey hole–If you love me why am I dying–but Season of the Witch played over the end credits. I think it was the Joan Jett cover but I’m not sure.
