Before my old computer blew up LOL, I had a link in my bookmarks to a site that had translated all of Eric’s Swedish phrases. I wish I could remember where that site is!

Regarding the sound bite: It doesn’t sound like Swedish to me, so I think Eric talks to Yvetta in her own language. But of course I could be wrong, it’s hard to hear what he says.
Btw, feel free to ask me for translations, since I am, you know, Swedish and all.

Serena, there is a lot of similarity between slavic languages. Being of Polish heritage, I can understand quite a bit of Czech, Ukrainian and Russian, as long as they speak slowly. Don’t know about Estonian, have never heard it spoken.
Oh I know Bobsgran, sorry I didn’t mean to come off quite so snotty, I only meant I had never heard of Estonian, I have quite an ear for languages, I speak German myself. lol. What I really meant was, I thought Estonian’s speak a form of Lithuanian or Latvian or Russian,.. I was very cranky this morning. lol.
I had to google what people from Estonia speak, apparently its Estonian. lol. I feel so ignorant but what the hell is that? Lol, I thought at first that Yvetta was speaking Russian.. I need someone to explain this to me.. lol.
I should really wikipedia before I google. lol. Apparently Estonian is close to Finnish.. but she might be speaking Russian.
No problem Serena. I didn’t think you sounded snotty at all. I wouldn’t know if someone was speaking Estonian, never having heard it spoken. Interesting that it is close to Finnish. Can’t hear the clip properly so can’t say what the language is.
This is understandable. In one of the short clips she said “dobri wetschjer” which means “good evening” in both, Russian and Czech.
Concerning Estonia. The Balticum was under foreign rule very long and at least during communism the national languages were suppressed while Russian was charged, thus Estonian to us is a more unknown language.

Well Feath, I think there is a potential for a firestorm during/after each episode… especially if something swings one way or a another. But again, no one has more of an ability to argue out their ass than we do. I’m positive of that. I hope they bring it,
(shakes my head) All I could think was “ah-oh, she is not going there is she?” She picked the wrong crowd in which to stir up trouble but everyone handled themselves very well.
It’s probably a good thing I didn’t notice her.
